When do
I get paid? |
|
Your checks are mailed
and you should receive them by the 30th of the
following month.
|
|
If
I cannot make a
scheduled observation what should I do? |
|
First, submit a "date
change request" as soon as possible. If you are
unable to change the date, please call the office.
|
|
How long do
I have to
submit my reports? |
|
All reports are due
within 36 hours from the time of the observation.
If you are unable to finish the report in that time
frame please be sure to email us and let us know the
status.
|
|
What type of reports do
I need to complete? |
|
We are looking for the
most detailed reports possible. Little details are
very important. We want the reader to feel like
they're experiencing the visit with you.
|
|
How do
I become your
favorite observer? |
|
Complete a detailed
report on time. Look at the report before you do
the observation. Always read the observation
details as they change often. Communicate with us
in advance if you have a problem with a scheduled
observation.
Save your reports as
often as possible and prior to submitting.

|
What do
I do if the
weather is bad?
|
|
We would never want to
endanger our observers and therefore ask you to use
your judgment on completing an observation in the
event of a storm. Please remember that our clients
also face challenges during these times and, it
would not be fair to evaluate them when they may be
struggling with help issues or storm damage. Depending on the type of storm, the client could be
affected for days to follow. We do ask that you
make the best effort possible to complete the
observation when possible.
Thank you and stay safe!

What do
I need to know
about taxes? |
|
As an independent
contractor you need to claim your income from us on
your taxes. 1099 forms are mailed out each January
for independent contractors who were paid over
$600.00 during the year.
Throughout the year be
sure to save your gas and toll receipts as these may
be used as expenses against your income. We
recommend keeping an expense log of mileage, gas,
and tolls.
|
|
How do we rate our
observers? |
|
We look for two things
from our observers:
1. Quality, detailed
reports.
2. A pleasant working
relationship - on time reports, professionalism, a
helping hand once in a while for last minute
bookings, good communication.
The better rating you
have, the more observations you will be offered.
|
|
What happens after
I
apply? |
|
Your application will
be reviewed when we need new observers in your
area. You will be contacted by email to proceed
with our training if you are accepted. |
